How can we help you?

We provide advisory services, workforce and skills development, and practical support in adopting new technologies.

Our goal is to engage with over 200 businesses across Glasgow, Inverclyde, Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, and West Dunbartonshire through our six dedicated centres.

Advisory services

We provide expert advisory services to businesses, offering tailored guidance on innovative development strategies.

By assessing individual business needs, CLIC’s advisors help companies implement best practices that align with their sustainability goals, ensuring long-term success and compliance with industry standards.

Workforce and skills development

We support workforce development through specialised training programmes designed to enhance skills in innovative practices and technologies.

These programmes are delivered through a combination of on-site training, online courses, and workshops, helping employees at all levels to contribute effectively to their company’s objectives.

Practical support in adopting new technologies

We offer practical support for businesses adopting new technologies by providing access to the latest sustainable tools and equipment.

This includes hands-on demonstrations, training sessions, and ongoing technical support to ensure smooth integration of these technologies into existing business operations, driving innovation and improving overall efficiency.

We recently completed training with West College Scotland to help our business expand into the renewable energy industry. The course was very well presented, and all the staff were first class in their approach.

I look forward to working with them again in the future.

Paul Campbell, Director, Campbell Gas

We found the organisation and delivery process through Glasgow Clyde College smooth and efficient.

From pre-funding application meetings to class communications, including additional support requests, course delivery and materials provided, to the ability to accommodate invigilation of the student’s final exam to suit the individual’s working shift patterns, we have been extremely satisfied throughout with all contact from the college.

Working in partnership with our local community has been a great opportunity for GXO/Sainsbury to forge close links with South Lanarkshire College while supporting Horticulture students and giving them an opportunity to work and learn from a business environment during their studies.

This initiative has given all parties the opportunity to offer creative ways for innovative solutions and to look forward to new ones!

Alan Brown, Senior Manager at GXO

Learning about the process from taking initial concepts through to developing an idea is a long and challenging experience.

Learning from colleagues at City, who have been on these journeys before, has direct and indirect benefits to someone who is just starting out.
